This handcrafted holy icon of the Archangel Michael is painted with meticulous attention to detail. Wieslaw Wardynski Icon Art workshop presents a hanging icon featuring a metal hook.

  • hand-painted on hardwood using oil paints
  • provided with tapered and dove-tailed battens inserted into the back (like icons from the 12th to 15th centuries)
  • to preserve the longevity of the icon covered several times with emulsion, and after completion covered with preservative material (i.e. varnish)
